About Dreamerz-dream

I started cooking at the age of 12.
Being the eldest in family I have the responsibilities to take care of my siblings.
Plus the "Home Science" subject which I studied when I was form 1 to form 3.
And my mother never stopped me experimenting on recipes (I love trying traditional recipes)
I remember trying to make halwa maskat as early as fourteen.
I remember my friends in school making fun of my kuih bangkit when they didn't turn out like how they should be.The biscuits became so hard when I baked them, that they (my friends) start throwing them at the wall to test how hard they were.

Back then the only oven I used is my mother's. It was a black square "Butterfly" brand oven. And we used gasoline stove. And it can still create wonders!
I remember making "ban batu karang" (rock buns) , lepat pisang and epok epok.
In Johor, there are terms like epok-epok and tembosa when everywhere else just generalise as curry puff.
Karipap in Johor is the one made by benggali -orange color , hard and crispy with very few meat and potato inside. Usually sold by Bai roti.
As time pass by I beginning to appreciate food even more. Everywhere I go I tend to try the food significant to the place I went.
And I never stopped learning. My teachers started from my mother, Pah Enah, Lynn Hassan and books loads of them which includes Mrs Beeton, Chef Wan and now watching AFC , Jamie Oliver, Nigella and Chef at Home and online. And I will keep on learning....

I do take orders from time to time but in small scale as I already have a full time job.
